What we offer

Training in the heart of Madrid, right next to Chueca

If you are looking for somewhere to run a course, a workshop or a training day near Chueca, our Gran Vía venue is the most practical spot in the area. You are right in the city centre, on Gran Vía, just a few metres from the edge of Chueca along Calle Hortaleza, with all the shops, restaurants and hotels nearby for your attendees.

The classrooms are handed over ready to start: projector or screen, fibre internet connection, air conditioning, whiteboard and furniture that we reconfigure to suit your session format, whether classroom, U-shape, work tables or theatre. We work with small groups and with training sessions for up to 60 people.

You book exactly the time you need, with no strings attached: a morning, a full day or several consecutive weeks. Our reception team welcomes attendees, handles catering and the coffee break, and resolves any technical issue that comes up during the course.

Chueca is one of Madrid's most energetic and well-connected central neighbourhoods—and for training organisers looking for classrooms in the area, the Ibercenter venue at Gran Vía 6 is the obvious choice. The two neighbourhoods share a border, with Gran Vía station on Metro Lines 1 and 5 equidistant between the upper end of Chueca and the commercial heart of Gran Vía. From the main Chueca plaza, the walk to Gran Vía 6 takes under five minutes along Hortaleza or Fuencarral streets.

The classrooms at Gran Vía 6 are set inside a landmark 1922 Art Déco building and can be configured for groups of up to 60 attendees in theatre, classroom or U-shape format. Projection, dual screens, wireless presentation tools, 10 Gbps fibre connectivity and full climate control are standard. An exclusive 1,500 m² terrace is available for breaks, networking segments or post-session receptions—a feature that makes the venue distinctive compared with standard training centres in the same area of Madrid.

Bookings are available by the hour, the half-day, the full day or across multiple days for extended course programmes. The reception team, bilingual in Spanish, English and French, is in place from 8:00 to 20:00 on working days to manage arrivals, handle logistics and ensure the room is set up exactly as requested before the first participant arrives. For recurring bookings, room bonus packages offer prepaid hours at preferential rates.

The area

Chueca in detail

Chueca is one of the liveliest and best-connected neighbourhoods in Madrid: design, gastronomy, boutique hotels and an atmosphere that turns any training session into a comfortable experience for those coming from out of town. Holding your course here makes it easy for attendees to arrive without a car and to find somewhere to eat or stay just steps away.

Our Gran Vía venue serves this area directly from the edge of the neighbourhood. The metro and Cercanías commuter rail connections are excellent, which is key when you are bringing in participants from across the city or those arriving by AVE high-speed train at Atocha or Chamartín. The building also has its own terrace, ideal for breaks during the course.

Chueca and the Gran Vía corridor have undergone significant transformation in recent years into one of Madrid's most creatively and commercially active zones. The neighbourhood is home to a dense concentration of design agencies, tech startups, health and wellness brands, boutique PR firms and independent consultancies—the precise professional community for which flexible, on-demand training space is most valuable. Running a skills workshop, leadership development session or client-facing seminar here means placing your course in an environment that the participants already associate with innovation and quality.

The surrounding streets offer exceptional logistical support for a training day: independent coffee shops and lunch restaurants cover every format from a quick sit-down to a full catered set menu, and the area is saturated with hotels at all categories for delegates who need to stay overnight. Public transport connections radiate outward from Gran Vía station—Malasaña, Alonso Martínez, Banco de España, Sol and Ópera are all one or two stops away—ensuring that participants from across Madrid can reach the venue with minimal travel time.

FAQ

What people ask
before booking.

How many attendees can I book a classroom for near Chueca?

+

We have classrooms for small groups and for training sessions of up to 60 attendees. We arrange the furniture to suit your format: classroom, U-shape, theatre or work tables. Tell us the number of participants and we will assign the space that fits best.

How do my students reach the Gran Vía venue from Chueca?

+

You are right next to the Chueca neighbourhood and roughly one minute from Gran Vía metro (L1 and L5). Anyone coming from the Chueca stop (L5) arrives on foot in just a few minutes along Calle Hortaleza. Cercanías at Sol (C3, C4) completes the connection for those arriving from outside Madrid.

What equipment do the classrooms include?

+

Each classroom includes a projector or screen, fibre internet, air conditioning, a whiteboard and reconfigurable furniture. Reception takes care of welcoming attendees and we can arrange a coffee break and catering. If you need any specific equipment, let us know when booking and we will have it ready.

Can I rent the classroom for just a few hours or for individual days?

+

Yes. You can book by the hour, for a full day or for several consecutive weeks, depending on how long your training lasts. It is the usual choice for one-off courses, workshops and exams near Chueca without taking on a fixed lease. Call us on 914 184 518 and we will check availability.

Is the Gran Vía venue walking distance from the main Chueca area?

+

Yes. From the central Chueca plaza, Gran Vía 6 is approximately a four to five minute walk along Fuencarral or Hortaleza street. The metro journey (one stop on Line 5 from Chueca to Gran Vía) is equally quick and avoids any weather concerns.

Are the classrooms available at weekends for intensive courses?

+

Yes. Ibercenter offers 24/7 building access, and weekend training days can be arranged with advance notice. The reception team is not staffed at weekends in the same way as during the working week, so discuss the specific requirements—arrival management, coffee service, AV setup—when booking.

Can the room accommodate a training session that combines presentation and practical exercises?

+

Yes. The flexible layout options (classroom rows, U-shape, mixed) support sessions that move between instructional delivery and group work. Tables can be arranged to create both a central presentation focus and breakout working clusters within the same room if the group size allows.

Is there a waiting area where early-arriving participants can gather before the session begins?

+

Yes. Ibercenter's building has a reception area and common zone where participants can wait comfortably, leave coats and have a coffee before the room officially opens. The bilingual reception team is on hand to direct arrivals and make everyone feel welcome from the moment they enter the building.
