What is a business centre?

A business centre is a location where physical workspaces are offered: offices, office spaces, meeting rooms, training rooms or coworking spaces.

The aim of these centres is for companies to be able to carry out their professional activities as simply as possible, without investing time or money, without committing to long leases and enjoying facilities and services that, individually, would be very expensive to maintain.

How does a Business Centre work?

Business centres have evolved in recent years to become complexes with all kinds of workspaces for companies:

  • Private offices and office spaces.
  • Coworking Spaces
  • Meeting rooms.
  • Training classrooms.
  • Virtual offices.

The use of these spaces is usually linked to being able to enjoy a series of associated services:

  • Reception and distribution of mail and courier.
  • Receiving calls.
  • Ergonomic office furniture.
  • Tailor-made design of the spaces.
  • Personalized attention to visitors.
  • Use of common areas: terraces, cafeterias, rest areas.
  • High-speed connection.
  • Telephone services.
  • Networking events.
  • Video surveillance.
  • 24-hour access.
  • Cleaning, disinfection and maintenance tasks
  • Air conditioning

Why a business centre?

Business centres have several advantages over the traditional rental of an office:

1. Time

It allows you to get your business up and running almost immediately. The facilities are fully equipped. The client only has to indicate what needs they have, and the staff of the centre takes care of everything else: furniture, answering calls, mail, cleaning, maintenance, reception, etc.

2. Saving money

No initial investment required: furniture, registration of communication services, electricity, water, maintenance, etc.

It also means savings in payroll, since you do not need to hire reception staff or a fixed expense in administrative staff. In addition to the flexibility of contracting, both in time and space.

3. Location

Our centres are located in very representative areas of the capital, so that you can project a more professional image of your business and give it greater visibility, as well as being better communicated to your workers.

4. Flexible Rental

Business centres offer greater flexibility compared to traditional renting under contracting conditions, expand or reduce spaces in a short time, customize or personalize services for your company

5. Networking

Hundreds of companies carry out their professional activity in business centres, so it is an excellent opportunity to network, establish synergies and increase your network of contacts and potential customers and/or suppliers.

6. Privacy

Offices and office spaces are private spaces, physically separated. In this way, you have the advantage of being able to do networking but at the same time, maintaining the privacy of a traditional office.

7. Safe spaces against Covid-19

We have adapted our centres to be safe spaces against Covid-19. Thus, our Protocol has a set of prevention, containment and coordination measures established in the Royal Decree-Law of 9 June 2020 and subsequent recommendations that have been published on the official website of the Ministry of Health.

Difference between Business Centre and Coworking?

With the passage of time and the subsequent appearance of Coworking, spaces that offered workstations from different companies in the same shared space, the term “business centre” has practically fallen into disuse.

In this way, the word “Coworking” continues to be applied interchangeably for the two ways of managing spaces, and both activities even coexist in the same location.

In fact, on some occasions “Private coworking’s” are requested  and what the client is really looking for is a private space for that number of positions in these complexes where, in addition, they can access other services and shared facilities.

Flex office: the evolution of business centres

2020 has accelerated the evolution of business centres to workspaces with greater flexibility. Today, the concept of Flex Office or flexible space is imposed on business centres and coworking. In conclusion: workspaces tailored to the time you need.

The option of renting rooms at Bernabéu will also allow you to give a higher level to all your meetings.
